Basket Case

The "Basket Building" also known as the worlds largest basket; is considered to be one of the strangest looking office buildings in the world. The building is located in Neward, Ohio and is the headquarters for the Longaberger Basket Company. The seven-story, 180,000 square-foot building is a replica of the company's famous market basket. The building took two years to complete and cost thirty million dollars to build.

Dave Longaberger, who founded the company, was the business visionary who not only tapped into the demand for hand-woven party baskets, but who dreamed up the idea of running his growing organization from the world's largest replica of one.
